Winter Weddings in Mountains

I imagine, if you were to have a perfect winter wedding in United States you would probably want it to be in Colorado. Landscape looks similar to Polish Tatry it is cold but sunny for the most part. This picture taken from Ski Tip Lodge at Keystone looks next to perfect. All thru the wedding there wasn't Polish, I still think it would be a nice location if you wanted something with a little bit more Polish flavor yet staying in the country. Menu wouldn't be obviously Polish but there are always ways of bringing more traditional to Polish kitchen items that are available to those in restaurant/banquet business.
Let me just mention that these two wonderful shots are taken by Sean Cayton. If you are indeed considering a wedding in Colorado you might want to look into his services!

Michigan of course as cold as it is and with the amount of snow that we get each winter is not a bad choice for a winter wedding either. Instead of staying in the Metro-Detroit area, try going up north and experience the true side of Michigan. Leggs Inn is a Polish Restaurant that has pretty large Polish menu. Some of the items are better than others, but I am sure you would find there enough food to create your own delicious combination to serve for your guests. I have never been there during winter but I imagine it is beautiful. My few trips that I made there were during summer. They have a great backyard with an amazing lake view. It is really worth visiting just for the experience.
Ideally, for quite a few of you would be to have your wedding in Poland. Some of Polish couples that I know actually have two weddings. One in United States for friends and part of family and one in Poland for the rest of the family and friends that couldn't make it. Considering that you already purchased the dress and tux, it is actually not a bad idea. It might be just a small gathering, but it also might be a  huge event depending on what fits your personal preferences and budget. One of few places that I found that are interesting and worth seeing are Karczma u Dziubasow in Bialka Tatrzanska. I've heard some wonderful stories about owners, food and over all experience. Bialka Tatrzanska is a small village between Zakopane and Nowy Targ. Here is a map for you so you can see that area.

Those wonderful three shots above are taken by Robert from Bialystok.
